Understanding how to use OTP to start and stop duties
This article will take you through steps on how to set up required OTP to start and stop duties through the Indecab - Go Driver App
Let’s get started,
It is a compulsory action to add either a OTP/Signature to Stop Duty through the IndecabGo Driver App.
How to Set-up Start OTP?
Go to Me - Business Settings - Duties/Bookings - Enable Start Duty OTP Verification
Now when your driver begins duty through the IndecabGo Driver App, he will be required to add a START OTP shared with the passenger to begin duty
To STOP DUTY driver is required to enter OTP shared on the passenger mobile number
Ability to disable sending STOP OTP sms -
Go to Me - Business settings - Click on Duties/Bookings - Scroll below - Untick the column ‘Enable stop duty OTP verification’ - Save changes
By doing this the passenger would not receive an OTP sms when a duty is stopped, to complete a duty driver would have to take the passenger's signature instead.
