Getting started with the Indecab Go - Driver app

This article will show you how to create driver app logins as well as assign duties to your drivers through
the driver app.

Step 1: Creating driver logins

The first thing you need to do is create logins for your drivers. You can do this from the 'My Drivers'
section as well as the 'Suppliers' section.

Note: A supplier user can only be created for 'Driver cum owner (DCO)' type of Suppliers.
To create a user, go to the My Drivers or Suppliers section and move your mouse over the gear icon to
the right of the Driver/Supplier's name and click on 'Create user'.

Enter a password and click on 'Create user'.

Step 2: Installing the app on your driver's phone

Your driver must have an Android phone with GLONASS support. To check if your driver's device is GLONASS enabled visit GSM Arena.

To understand how to set the battery optimization settings on the drivers phone check this article: How to set the battery optimisation settings on the Indecab Go Driver app

Step 3: Allotting a duty to the driver

The driver allotment process remains the same as manual duty slip allotment.

Add a booking and click on 'Allot'. You will notice a small phone icon next to the drivers name. This
indicates that the driver is app enabled. As soon as you allot the driver, he/she will get a notification on
the phone with the driver details.

Ask them to click on duty details and click on 'Accept', the status of the duty in your dashboard would
change to 'Accepted'.

Once the driver reaches the reporting address at the reporting time they need to click on 'Start journey'.

The KM & Time will be automatically tracked. When the trip is over the driver can collect the passengers signature on the phone as well as take images of the toll/parking slips and close the duty. The completed duty slip details would be visible on the dashboard instantly.

How to create a DCO user account?

To create a user account, you need to go to Masters > Supplier and click on the small gear icon next to that DCO and click on Create User. There is a pop up that appears in which the user name by default would be the mobile number of that DCO and you can enter the password and click on create user.

It's that simple!
